'Psalms Aloud' contains 150 prayers and hymns used by the Hebrew people to express their relationship with God. They cover the whole range of human emotions from joy to anger, from hope to despair.

Most of them were written by David and other individuals, but the aim of this version is to make it easier for groups to use, hence they are now all in plural. Written over 500-1000 years ago, they span almost the entire Old Testament. The earliest Psalm was written by Moses (1400 BC) and the last Psalm was written in 400 BC.

Maria Anaele-Kerr lives in Rugby, Warwickshire, with her husband and four children. She loves new ventures and travel but above all, she loves caring and meeting new people.
